Description
This hat carries the soul of generations.
Since my grandfather’s time, our family has worked with rabbit fur,
learning how to transform raw pelts into living warmth.
We begin with Angora rabbit fur – not ordinary rabbit,
but the kind bred for its cloud-like softness.
Each pelt is cut by hand into 0.2-0.3cm strips,
because machines tear what careful hands preserve.
Then comes the weaving – the heart of our craft.
For twelve hours a day, our artisans work:
crossing strips over and under,
building density without sacrificing breath,
creating a fabric that feels alive.
One hat. One day. One craftsperson.
That’s why the inside feels like gentle hands
cupping your head on frozen mornings.
Wear it as a hat when winds howl –
the deep ear flaps sealing out winter.
Or drape it as a scarf when city lights glow –
the double-sided fur embracing your neck
like a warm whisper against the cold.
